Question of Torque wrench

Okay im dumb someone help me. So i have this Snap on Torque wrench i got for christmas (they got it from ebay) and yea im trying to fiqure out when i achieve the desired torque does it make a loud click can i no longer keep going or is it something else. I was trying to torque down my spark plugs (just for a test). Here is the link to the one i have.

it will click to let you know you have reached the set torque. You can keep going, but then you're over-tightening

there should be no click until it gets to spec. then click. it will just feel like a normal wrachet until *click*. if it keeps clicking when you know its not tight, it might be defective
