Just wanted to give everyone who may be in the market for a Magnaflow catback a heads up on Performance Peddler's new pricing for evom members. The new price is $371.74 shipped.
Just my luck, since I was counting on spending $305.
Still a good price though I guess.

Sale Price: $478.79
EvoM Members: $371.74
Not bad. Good savings. When I got mine it was $315 Shipped to your door. I'm glad I got it when I did. But that was over a year and a half ago though.

The reason I ask is, I love the way Magnaflow catbacks sound, but I know a guy in Cincinnati who may be able to hook me up with a custom build for less $$. Just want to make sure I'm not disappointed with the end result if I go that route.

i dont mean to jack this thread or anythin.. but RRM is sellin Greddy evo axle backs for $80 or less i think.. you just get it custom welded to a pipe of your size then you are good to go.. Greddy is just tight.. Sorry hehe! you will love the sound! hmmm as for power, all the mufflers out there are the same anyways.. none of us lancer tuners are goin hardcore IMO.. so yeah.. muffler doesnt really matter..
i had a buddy with a titanium muffler so he gave that to me and i took it to my shop and said "install it with 2.5" cat back" and he charged me 90$ he also said if it doesnt pass smog to bring it back to him and he will pay for a fake smog for me...
so 90$ and i have catback on my car and its sounds really really good... nice and deep.
i also have a 25$ cold air intake off ebay and they work great together

I have the magnaflow muffler also, tho the sound is deep, its kinda "raspy" then it revs down... (stock piping with RRM header). Would the upgrade to 2.25 help that ricey raspy sound or make it worse?
i've got installed GReddy muffler which i bought from RRM ($79) and sound is not that loud but deep..kinda like it. but stock piping...I don satisfied w/ it. so im thinking abot to get a high flow cat or test pipe and.. coustom pipe also...anyone have an idea that i can get a good deal?? (I'll probabley get an intake soon..than can i expect to get better flow and sound?)
