Question Next week I should be in the market for an exhaust!

And with that comes questions...Yes, I searched first.

I'm looking at RRM Magnaflow Catback at $399 and the Greddy at $499

Since first word of that site I had been looking at the Magnaflow but now that the Greddy is on I have another option.

Does anyone here have the magnaflow on? If so how does it sound? More specifically is it going to give me that tuner sound (medium high pitched) and not the farty sound (Low rumble)?

As far as gains go, I know I'm not going to get any massive gains but any little bit will help the Lancer (As we all know) so as far as that goes is the extra $100 worth it with the Greddy?

I also wanted bolt up and those were the only ones I seen. They are both good brands but I needed some help. I plan on going turbo once I get a good NA engine going and get some spare change going.

Can I get some help please?

(Edit) Oh yeah! Will the Greddy melt my bumper?

Sound clips or links would help alot

1) Search more, and more often.
2) I have sound clips on these forums in a thread with the Magnaflow catback itself, magnaflow + test pipe, and magnaflow + test pipe + RRM header.
3) You won't really notice much of a gain.
4) Sound is all personal preference.

I would go for the Magnaflow, as there is not enough difference to constitute the $100 difference.

Here's another option, DC Sports single canister catback... ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DC-Sp...32623960QQrdZ1 ). Under $500 shipped.

if you search you can find that rrm (rock) is selling just the muffler part for 79 bucks (greddy). and in that thread, importz speed has a sound chip of it. you can buy that and do custom pippings like importz speed did (i think he had custom pipes for like 150 bucks). i have one, but its not on cause i cant find a shop willing to do it. if you live in a big city you shoudnt have a problem with shops putting it on.
