Lancer ES 02 Rear turn signal bulbs
You could probably get away with white turn signals, definitely not blue. I had those in my old Sentra for about three weeks, when a cop saw me use them (blinking). Apparently, it's not really a big deal if they don't blink, but blinking blue (or red) lights is considered impersonation of an emergency vehicle. I've seen bright white signals everywhere, and that's what I replaced them with. I mean, what's the point of having clear lenses if you can't put something other than orange behind them? You could probably play dumb with the white turn signals at least and claim that you must've bought the wrong ones. It would just look like your turn signal lenses were broken to the unaware observer who doesn't know that the Lancer has clear lenses. When my Sentra was totalled and I got my Lancer, I decided to keep everything legal. Legal white Xenon, legal tint, legal everything, or as close as possible. By the way, if you want bright white signals, don't buy a bulb with an "A" at the end. I used to work at Pep Boys Auto and can tell you from stocking the Sylvanias that anything with an "A" at the end of the number is amber in color.
