Ok PLEASE tell me what' wrong!

I was making the almost 100 mile trip to Providence RI and about halfway there on the highway my car scared me sh*tless. For the past few days the car has felt a little laggy i guess you could say. Id step on the gas and it just didnt feel like it was pulling as hard as it should. Then last night I was about 10 mins from the edge of CT and it started shuddering when i would give it gas. Like the engine didn't wanna rev up. It would jolt up and down. I pulled off the next exit cuz i had to stop anyway for a pit stop and i let it idle for a second before i ran inside to relieve myself and it was idling very rough. Dipped down almost to the point of stalling.

After i came back outside i started it up again and it was idling smoothly at about 600 and the whole rest of the way it felt fine (it still felt weaker like i mentioned before) althought i didnt really get on it cuz i was afraid.

There's a list of current mods in my sig.

Any ideas? thanks

Check your plugs, post pics of the plugs, check if your MAF adapter is correctly connected. Check ignition, intake system, filter. Post results, concerns, pics.

Water in the gas would be my vote, throw some Lucas additive i nthere or any other dry gas and injector cleaner, and run a tank through it . . . should clear up if the plugs look ok. This is the time of year around here when moisture in the tank accumulates

Hmm, i think i had that problem in my old corolla a few years back...i went to mobil and filled the remainder of the tank with 93 and ran that through. Problem solved.

Ill still have to check the plugs tomorrow, if those look fine ill do what you said.

Thanks again guys
