^No you are right...ver. 2 uses 89 and ver. 1 uses 91. I thought I heard ver. 2 gives us 02-03 guys rough idle alot and CEL and all...which the trade off for nice gains is probably worth it.

With the software u can program it to have multiple maps on it and use one for a smooth idle but less power and the other for more power and a rougher idle.

But that's only if you do it right, and if you invest in either dyno-tune time, or wideband, egt and logging device.

My personal opinion... Too many people complaining of this and that with Ver.2. If I had to buy again, I'd buy Ver.1 again.

Actually, RRM reprogrammed mine to have a less rough idle and Rob and Boe have explaned how to program it without those things and still experience gains or a smoother idle.

I am talking about modifying the exsisting map from rrm not creating a whole new program. I am not to sure about it yet since i have yet to do it so you might want to ask boe about it.
