Let take a wild guess.... You bought this "EVO" from a local dealer.

If that is the case, you been had.

If you got this from an importer, how did you get it registered since it is illegal to import new cars into the state of CA as road car.

You can get skylines imported legal to CA as well as the rest of the US. http://www.skylinegtr.com/

MotoRex took out of the FAQ in which they used to indicate that they cannot sell any 2 years or newer GT-R to CA because of import law imposed on CA. I think they removed that FAQ fact because they would loss a potential customer. They still want to lure their potential customers in for a used GT-R. If you have an Evo 7, then check out www.takakaira.com for some parts. I have no idea how good their service is, but I know people have used them before.

If you have a US Lancer then check out www.rmrproducts.com for some parts. Their parts can only be purchased through dealers though.

Be gentle now.
He thought he got an EVO, that is punish enough.

Lancer is just an ordinary grocery getter.
Evo has only the chassis in common, the rest are design from racing components.

Like other people indicated on this board, if you want any performance close to an Evo, you will end up spending more performance parts than getting a new Evo.

When did the Lancer become a peice of **** ? Besides, probably half the members on here have Lancers (not of the Evo variety), so in a sense your putting down everyone who just bought one. Not everyone has the money to afford an Evo, or a really nice sports car, to some the Lancer may well be the nicest car they have owned to date, and you are saying they bought a piece of ****. In the future comments of this nature will be just be deleted, so save it.
