Yes the tranny generates a lot of heat, but no I don't think insulating the intake piping would make a measurable difference in air temp as it enters the chamber (not to mention it's being heated up under compression anyway). But I still love the ceramic idea for its neutral color.

Besides, $10 to make it fit any color scheme and the POSSIBILITY of increasing hp due to colder air, why not?

seems like red is your thing..... red manifold, red intake, and the stock red strutbars for the raliarts...... why not keep the theme red???

BUT i like ceramic better so that got my vote. im all about chrome and carbon fiber engine bay..... not a yellow lancer and a red engine, i dont want my car to look like hulk hogan

I'm in full agreement with urbanknight. Ceramic coating will work the best with people's color scheme since it will match everything. And it just looks plain sweet

Red... all the way.... and knock it down about.. 100 bucks? yeah that sounds great.. and deck it out in diamonds... that way i can chip em off and sell em to buy the tein basic from RRM
