Re-doing muffler job
Re-doing muffler job
sigh.....
i've got the swaybar today but i couldn't get it on my car cause of suck done muffer job.
the muffler guy didn't recogniz that there's holes existing for the perches in ES.
he covered that holes with the pipe.(didn't as like stock pipe's way)
so i have to re do the muffler job so that i can install the swaybar....damn.
btw if i go with the evo7 body kit rear bumper, how much should lower the muffler? now i have ES and even space surround w/ muffler and bumper. and i want to pull out more the muffler to outside of bumper.i think the hook thing should removed from the muffler and reweld it to more inner side of muffler.
and how about getting another after market muffler holding piece(kartboy?) after re do muffler job w/ keeping space about now?
here's a pic of not well done muffler job.

please give me some advice you guys
thank you!

First piece of advice...make sure you take your time wording your help question. It is fairly hard to decipher.
If you are getting a bodykit then wait until it comes to be sure of the muffler placement. You don't want to have to redo it a 2nd time.
Lastly, every muffler shop I have ever been to makes sure that the exhaust tip sticks out of the bumper a little bit so the heated gases do not melt the bumper. Make sure that the next muffler guy you go to does that at least. It's doesn't have to be far out but better outside that under the bumper.

i removed stock pipe from the back side of the cat to exhaust(removed stock rasonator) and got 2.25" pipe with muffler.
and the review....
it's not loud at all but sound more deepper than before.i like it very much.
thanks all you guys who gave me some tips. now i need high flow cat or test pipe.
