Hey, I just picked up a stock OZ spoiler and was wondering what the best way to remove the center pillar from it is. Also, once it's off, do I have to fill in the hole it will leave or is it not noticable? Thanks

 

I have no tips on removing the center pillar, but I would certainly recommend filling the holes. Noticable or not, they will rust sooner or later. Probably sooner.

 

The spoiler isn't metal... they won't rust... The reason I want to remove the pillar is because I have an EVO so I don't already have the center hole drilled, and it looks better.

from what ive read, most guys have to basically rip it off.... there is a hole that is left.

No, the TRUNK DECK is metal. If there's no hole drilled then no worries.
