CHOICE 2! You will and can always come across more money. Enjoy your car now and get your thrills. Might as well have fun with it now and remember the times before you go two years without it. I mean think about it...$1000? When you get out of college what is $1000? Thats change buddy, am I right? When you get out of college the day you graduate your not going to have an Evo. You will have some time to shop around, price, and wait on the edition and color you want; am I right?

Mod your car with the money you have and its NOT a fact that you can't part out the mods or even sell the car with the mods for a slightly higher price. Live now!

Agreed you can open up a CD with that with your local bank and you get a certain percent of interest on it. So by the the time you get out of college that money you put in their before you left would be much more, my .02.

if you're gonna sell your car, then why do you need to do anything to it. by the time you sell it the mods will be worth as much if not more than the car.

NO WAY! it won't be worth more than 10k. some idiot may want to pay that for it, but if they looked, they could find plenty of OZ's, same year, for well under 10k.

Start saving for the Evo now. Best bet. Bigger down payment, lower monthly payments, more mod money.
