Maybe he might be the first Lancer that will be supercharged?!!!! Or an Evo engine conversion?...

 

Nah... RRM has their turbo already and RIPP is already getting started on a supercharger system. That's not a worthwhile expenditure of development right now. And he said he's not changing the engine.

But since DOHC is out of the question, and I'm assuming it's not going to be any of the typical mods like mufflers and intakes. The DOHC got "yeah right I wish" as a response and would have yielded maybe 30HP more, so whatever mod this is can't be as powerful as a super/turbo charger.

My guess is a chip of some sort, but I didn't think RRM had the resources to make custom chips and if one of the chipmakers had them, I'd assume someone else would know about it, so even that's a stretch. Maybe a handling upgrade?

truthfully i think this mod is gonna work out better then dohc conversion ill more then likly be able to aqueeze out a substantial amount of power from it
