I bought a rrm evo 8 spoiler a while back and it wobbles and flexes like madness. Ive been looking at different sites and browsing around ebay. I would like to find a decently priced spoiler replacement. It doesnt matter if it has a carbon fiber center piece or not, as long as the material wont shake or flex. I was quoted 175 shipped from accolade (unpainted). What do you guys think? Know anywhere else to get a good one? Can anyone confirm that accolades doesnt wobble?

 

Anything ABS plastic will probably wobble and shake. Heard some good things about the fiberglass ones (ex, Accolade). But like me, I went all out on an OEM Evo VIII spoiler just to be certain of its quality... MINUS the clearcoat crap!

 

u bought it straight from the dealership? how much did that run u?

 

he probably bought it off an evo owner... they are allways parting them out. I had abs wing from rrm and decided to get a full CF evo VIII from cerious performance. ran me $400 but it was brand new and is perfect.

If you dont wanna spend loads of cash go with accolades FG wing.... its acyually some mixture of FG and poly isnt it?!?

 

Ive heard of some fitment issues with the accolade wing, But they have problaby fixed that now, they seem to take care of their customers pretty well. Most people put a small steel bar under the RRM wing to get rid of the vibration, it seems to work well and isnt noticable.

Our wing is the best version out to date, light and stiff, no problems there, as a replica its the best on the market..

 

You guessed correct my friend... Got mine for trade $200 ($100 for paint), plus OZ spoiler swap.

 

I placed an add in the WTB forums looking for a black spoiler but nothing as of yet.
