Did Mitsubishi make OEM fog lights for the 03 lancer?

My girlfriend wants to get a set of fogs and OEM are usually the nicest. I really dont want to get some cheap brand (or good brand for that matter) and stick them in where fogs would normally be. It just doesnt look right.

I'm actually interested in this as well. I've seen them on the Cedia and it's basically the same as a 02-03 lancer. Find out, and post something on here. I want a set as well!

put them suckers in the side vents and then hook up a HID Kit to it, Lovely!

I've seen them only for 04-05 on there. But are you saying there are OEM fogs for the 02-03?

You must buy 02-03 Cedia fog lights, they will fit.

DoH, I remember seeing them on ebay but they might have been for Cedia Lancer. I'm not sure if it would matter or not since the front bumper is a little bit different.

EDIT: Dano beat me to it.

I am thinking about getting some aftermarket ones and putting them in the middle grill since I took out the side grilles to make it look even since I have the CAI and the filter sits right behind that solid peace of plastic. Heck its fun to fabricate and do all the work yourself lol so aftermarket for me it is! but I have other plans first.

Short answer for Michael - no, there's no OEM fog lights for the USDM Lancer first generation. I've confirmed this with my local dealership.

Generally, they seem to sell good stuff, which DOES cost more. And shipping from Japan ain't cheap.

so someone can confirm these fit? I thought I read in a thread a while back that they didn't fit. anyone know anyone that actually has them, would hate to drop that kind of money and have them not fit.

I dont know if yours car does, but mine has two slots punched out in the top of the center bumper grill, either side of license plate, from the factory and then there is some styrofoam behind them, It would be easy to hang two lights there and run the wires through the grill. I always thought they were there for an extra pair of lights, lights you could buy anywhere, any style.
