Official Dealer Wayazata
I had to go to Wayazata Mitsubushi to get some parts for my Eclipse. While I was there I asked the guys on what the deal is with the Evo VII coming here to the U.S. this is their reply. " Man, Mitsubushi Motors of Japan keeps postponing the dates further and further. It was supposed to be here by mid june/july but from what it looks like it'll be until 2003 before we see it. That's if they don't delay it again. They are still working on out the specs. Mitsubushi is working on an AWD 220-240 horse Lancer for the U.S that should be here soon." Just thought I'd share.

Ahhh a new guy from MN 
Nice to see....we've now got 4 MN guys on the board....whcih is VERY promising. Now all we have to do is find the other 8 guys that are on the waiting list at Wayzata Mitsu.
What gen eclipse do you have?? Who'd you talk to up there?? And are you on the waiting list too??

I have a 98 GST- Spyder, currently installing a new clutch. i talked with the parts guy I think his name is Mike or Bob something like that. I know there this a waiting list but just want to see something concrete like the specs before acting on it. Always dreamed about owning a Lancer Evo i'm a huge fan of Rally Racing. You own a DSM? part of the MN-DSM Club?

Yer ride sounds pretty sweet. Do you have any pictures of it er anything??
I just started getting into rallying racing, but it's kinda hard to considering my college doesn't have The Speedchannel.
You might wanna give a shout to Rax on this board. He's got a '99 GSX (correct me if I'm wrong). We hung out a couple of weeks ago and watched the rallies over at his apt. He's a good guy.....I guess
I'm #5 on the waiting list down there. I think Rax was like #2 or #3. I think they're up to 10 now

Yep, I'm #3 on the list even though I put a deposit down in August 2001. There's actually people more nuts about the car than I am.
BTW Mitsubishi said themselves that the car would have more than 250 HP, so you shouldn't expect less than that.
