well when i bought my lancer, and come on this site, at first i thought id gotten ripped of. I paid $11,000, for my 2003 OZ, auto, 57K miles.
most cars around this area are expensive, so when i bought the car i thought it was no big deal, but like i said, i came on here, and found people who had paid like $6k.
i researched a bit and found that not only are there NO lancers, even the mitsu dealership dont got em, but the cheapest is $9,000, ES w/ 53K miles. There are 2004 models goin for $15-16,000
so its official, Southwest Florida, is the most expensive place to buy lancers. lol
anyone else with anything more expensive in their area???

i live in palm beach, and a year and a half ago, i bought a 2002 oz rally with 33k miles for 8500, after talkin them down from 9800 but i have noticed that it is pretty expensive to buy a car here, even buying gas is, what is it now? like 3.05 for regular? at cheapest in palm beach
ha ha.. no wonder the mods don't like you... Damn kid, you've got sooo many threads. What do you do for a living? just curious...
What you should always do is look up the value of the car ( lancer ) before you buy it. damn, I bought mine when it first came out and I"m still paying for it. On top of that I'm upside down by like 1000. I valued my car at 7 to 8k private sale at KBB. 60k miles.
retail is just over 10k. So , I guess it all depends on the dealer and location.

im a graphic designer for a news paper. ( www.newspress.com )
i really have to do much work, and im usually on this and another forum throughout the day. it helps the time go by faster.
yeh cars in this area are pricey to start with, so i dont feel as bad as i did when i first read someone got there oz for like $6k. Anyone know why the lancer has such a low value? i mean there not a bad car....what is it?

i didnt start talkin about gas prices. and so what if its random, its a forum, im voicing my opinion on a subject, to do with lancers, in the lancer general forum, and it sparks conversation, and thats the whole point, not every thread has to be a "how-to" or "help my car broke"
if someone changes the topic of conversation in a thread its not my fault, i will try and keep it on track though, actually the mods are supposed to do that. If they see a topic going off, they are supposed to bring it back.

From What I've read, Mistubishi's have a very low re-sale value. Any specifics on why, I can't say. Plus, it all depends what year as well. We're already into 2006 and and a 2002-2003 is expected to lose alot of value. Especially, with the new platforms already out and coming.
