cams are nice, but the piggyback will go much farther since it can later be professionally tuned to maximize your mods.

^ do u know the tuning points of it? limitations? no one speaks of this. how much is emanage these days, why not emanage, megasquirt, safcII??? some lancer owners can be so narrow minded about stuff like this, id like to see some objectivity.

well...the piggyback is $459?? I think. It is more expensive than the SAFC but has more tuning options. The emanage can tune anything you want but is super duper expensive i believe. I have no knowledge of the megasquirt. And with all of them alike, you will have to buy a wideband to get your AFR read which is another pile of money

this is the attitude im speaking of, of knowing rrm, not the vast options beyond red and blue, now they offer a great product for those of us who want some more umph with no work out of a box. but some of us need more.

megasquirt is definatly something that people need to look into.http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html READ UP.

as for emanage its by no means uber expensive, especially for what you gain.

IMO the piggy, because you are not taking full advantage of the mods you have already. Even without a tune the piggy helps bring out the full benefit of your mods. So your not experiencing the full potential of what you have already put on your car. From what I've read, It seems, the cam is best done after most other mods, but especialy the piggy, are done.

what type of myth is this? how do u bring out full potential of mods if its not tuned right? it doesnt just plug in and ask u ur mods and tune accordingly, its pretuned generic application

Yes it's a pre-tune generic application but affects each car differently depending on what mods it has. So, if you have the software you can tune your car to your pleasure. Here's where you'll be unleashing the full potential of your car.

Do you not get it? The piggyback comes with a generic map, but you can tune it yourself or professionally the same way you get other things tuned. Whats your beef with RRM? You argue with someone who states their opinion about RRM and you use the same description of narrowminded lancer owners who like RRM in the cam thread. Just accept the fact that RRM is one of the top lancer vendors in the US. RPW is far away and Accolade can be a pain to deal with.
