Ok, I have taken my greddy oil filter block, and my sending unit to lowes, home depot, and ace hardware (of course the smallest store was most helpful!) and noone can figure out even the thread sizes I am dealing with - let alone sell me an adapter/union etc. to install my ebay oil pressure sending unit into my greddy oil filter block.
The sender is labled 1/8"npt, but it's something more like a 1/4". They didn't know what bspt was at the hardware stores. I also hit an autozone and they were lost.
I am trying to tie into the largest of three holes in the oil filter block. It also appears to be somewhere around 1/4"
My question is this: For anyone who has installed aftermarked oil pressure senders, what size adapters (no matter the application) did you need to use? Any specifics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
