I think I have to agree... the vent shades look absolutely hideous. So hideous that I want to get a set for my car. And as for the comment about the ricer wing vs the vent shades... all I can say if functional mods make more sense.

 

I don't know if it's just my car or it's normal........when my climate control is in defogging mode, i realize that my gas mileage is so poor. It feels like the A/C is on but not lit up. That's why I'm thinking I need to get this visors.

 

When you turn on your defroster, the A/C automatically turns on in most cars. It is a funtion to help dry the air so you aren't putting more moisture (basically fog) onto the windshield.

 

take a front pic of the car and u would c that its ugly 2 put them on, and y open ur window , use ur ac on level 1 , thats wat i do, a 25$ gas tank lasts me 9 days, ps i drive my car at least 44 miles a day(going to school), and i have driving technics to save gas,lol

 

Damn, are you saying you get 396 miles to a tank? I thought even ralliarts can't get that good of mileage!

I think the ventshades look semi-okay. Obviously when you have super tinted windows they don't stick out as much. They work, so who is complaining? Although I run my car with a/c all the time and still manage 20mpg. 22-24 without it though, but I can live with it, Boston air sucks.

 

iv tryed mine out and gets 35 mpg,lol, just good care of it , intake ,denso plugs, royal purple oil and trans fluid, and i want a strait pipe to get better mpg, pm me if u want 2 know how 2 save gas when driving, oh and i dont carry any thing i dont need

 

I'd love to hear tips, but I have an Evo, so it doesn't get much better than I already get I believe the best I pushed it to was 25mpg on a long long highway run for about 2-300miles.

 

uh, doesn't using your a/c use more gas? I personally rarely use my a/c, just out of preference to having my windows rolled down.

 

Been there, done that (in my 02 OZ). Some of us just got lucky motors.
