I don't usually go quoting myself but I don't think I got an answer to this, and since it was brought up again I will go against my "never quoting myslelf streak" and quote myself...

It would stand to reason that the Lancer's SRI from RMR would cost less because there are far more Lancers on the road than Evos... so again I ask... why is the Evo SRI from RMR less than the SRI for the Lancer? Does it really cost RMR 40 bucks to manufacture that heat shield?

Maybe they bolt on differently and that is why there is such a price difference... Maybe someone can clairify this for me.

Me confused

PS- I still am in on this by the way... Maybe someone should call RMR and ask them about why there is such a difference in price for the Evo and the Lancer SRI... not me cause I lack the ***** and it's a long distance call... Hey don't look at me like that, I am saving for this 165 dollar SRI remember and I can't afford long distance calls... Gheez...

Looksfast, I haven't gotten a intake yet. It was to be my first mod. I was all excited for this group buy, but it never happened. I soon forgot about it all together. Funny thing though, I still have the money saved for it but I will most likely save up for a AEM CAI or just keep saving till I have enough for a Catback exhaust.

ZerO, how good of a deal did you get and how long ago was it that you got your intake? If I might ask.

I found a local dealer (not a Mitsubishi dealer) with the RMR intake for $150. That way I won't have to pay shipping, so it will probably be as cheap as the group buy would have been.
