I'm in on vegas....let's try to do it this summer still.

 

First of all, I think Vegas is perfect.

Second, Is there anybody here from central Cali (Fresno area)?

Vegas would be cool!!
Maybe we could arrange a hotel to help with some sort of room rate reduction.
Or a big indoor hall all cars could be shown in, including a wet skid pad that boni could do a big smokin burny on!

 

I do not think there would be te turnout we want if it happens before oct. we need to plan for next spring or summer. then there could be evolutions too. entertainment is needed, coordination with hotels and find parking lots or areas to gather. we cant just flood a hotel and hope there are rooms for us all. this is national. planning is needed. if there is anyone who lives in the vegas area, email me and lets talk and start planning this thing.

I agree that a national meet would probably require more planning than is possible in the next few months, but disagree on needing entertainment if we're in Vegas. Shooot, i'd probably forget why I was there within 10 minutes.

 

vegas is very, very, very fun but you must keep in mind that not everyone in the world is 21...gambling age. i think some cool parking lot thing may be sweet...a bikini contest, wet tshirt contest, maybe a guys hot bod contest...i can contact a few friends in vegas and see if they can work up a possible sponsers list for these and i can build on that...we need to set a date soon. and we need to get a copy of lancer registry so we can send EVERY lancer owner a post card about this thing

K, we should pick a time frame, next may? summer's in vegas are kinda silly hot, and I know I don't want to drive across the desert in 100 degree heat, april-may should be still warm but not scorching

 

If its gonna be April/May - should probably during Spring Break since some of us do have college

 

I'd be in on the Vegas thing but I would need a big notice on the date. If it was around mar-may that would be awesome. Also I think we should have regional meets, then coastal meets and a big national. Thats my two cents that have no weight.

Anyone from central ohio besides Sedated and Cincyracer? An idea to kick around if its not been done yet here is that we should have t some window clings to promote our club around where we live and show people that we exist.? Thats my other dumb thought for the day.

Well i'm from Toledo which is sorta close to central ohio.

No u.s. lancer or evo though.

 

Close enough for me, just wondering cause it seems like everyone is on the coasts. Where do you live in Toledo? A buddy of mine is living up on campus there till fall. Anyhow its cool you dont have a Lancer. WE forgive yah lol.
