I am sick and tired of guys saying how crappy the OZ is compared to the EVO, and how ugly the OZ is, if you hate the car so much don't buy one and get off the message board this is a "LANCER FORUM"
Why are you trying to compare two cars that are not even in the same class. Just because they are based vaguely on the same platform doesn't justify a comparison, it's like trying to compare the EX Civic to the Type R. There is no comparison. The only similarity is that they both have "Lancer" in their names.
I mean come on one is turbocharged, AWD 4 discs and sells for $30K (we think) the other is a SOHC, drums in the back and sells for less than $20K. So please stop trying to compare the two, I have been in love with the EVO since my next door neighbor brought home the EVO 3, but I drive an OZ and I am damn happy with it.
So please don't compare the two.

I agree though. I doubt (m)any Lancer owners bought one because they just couldn't wait for the Evo...we got them because of whatever reasons...price, practicality, styling...and I think most of the people posting at least are happy with their cars. People who bought Lancers did not expect Evos (unless they were brain dead and/or had one HELL of a salesperson).
I think the only way to finish this up is with a big "Can't we all just get along?"

People are comparing performance on the Oz and EVO?? How ignorant is that??
