i have a white 03 lancer es that i jus got. im thinking about geting aftermarket taillights and was wondering what you all think. should i go with the black/carbon- fiber look or the crome. i' d deff appreciate ur alls oponion

you could spend the money on better things in my opinion, but if you have your heart set on tail lights, then I would definitely say black ones

 

ok if u dont think i shoud go with the taillights shoot some other ideas at me. im a college kid so i dont have a lot of money but i do have enough to spend on some on my car. so ideas are appreciated

Your gonna get people who say it could be better spent in performance (My view)

Or Rims/body/interior mods.(I nice set of rims can NEVER steer you wrong- I'm not into much other body mods.)

It all depends on what YOU like, afterall it is your car, have fun with it.

if you want taillights then go on ebay :] 100$ish shipped .. get some black ones

then get matching black headlights

id say Dont go for the chrome look

 

black/carbon... the chrome ones just dont look right imo

 

personally i think carbon lights are garbage. unles its REAL carbon fiber, i would feel like a poser/ricer for having it. because its just like faking it you know. i would either stay stock or go black. . . depends on your car color and style. . . go for what YOU want though. . . its all yours and you never know, you could do something completely illogical and make it work,. thats the beauty of individuality

same with chrome, looks too pimpish. Its not an escalade. lol

i would say go with black. I've had my eye on this style for a while. Hoping someone will pick some up for me for christmas.

Why would you get real CF tails? Tail lights are dirty light to begin with.

Rims sure make a difference on how your car looks. You could drive by some chicks and they'd be like "who is that?!" LOL. Jk I'd get black tail lights. You could read the 'how to's' and learn to do it yourself. Save you some cash. If you mess up go to a salvage place.

 

get what you like...thats what it comes down to. It's your car and you are the one that is going to have to look at it everyday
