I haven't done anything to my 02 OZ yet... but have considered it's about time now.
As most people do, I dislike the silver Grill. So after browsing the forums I decided to buy the JDM WAGON RALLIART EDITION Front Grill from japanparts.com.

I thought my car was "Thunder Gray A02." The following is the same color for reference.



However, from browsing the forums I noticed this thread:

And this is listed as Thunder Grey.

This looks way off. Is this an error in this picture? Or do I have the color wrong?

Basically my question is can someone confirm the actual color of my car? If I am totally missing something I'm sorry for the noob question.

 

Yeah if that pic is just like your car then you do have a thunder grey metallic lancer and the paint code is A02. The pic on the site must just be a generic pic.

I have a grill here at home, it's a RRM one, but I don't even want it. I gotta get it painted and stuff...lol.

ebay and japanparts.com are about the same cost and these grilles haven't been on eBay in a while. Guess what you only option is......

as for the color, it will be dead on a match if you order the right color and part number (search). check the registry for pictures of other people's grille in your color

 

I never responded about japanparts.com and my experience with them (I asked the original question from your link) So here it goes, I ordered my ralliart grille from japanparts.com ($160 after shipping, taxes); perfect color match, undamaged, and it got to me extremely quick (like 10 days early), I highly reccomend them.
