Question MPG on Modded Lancer

I got my lancer es with the intention of saving gas... it saves a lot compared to my 300ZX... but i was just wondering how much MPG everyone else got with there lancer...

hopefully with this information, i can get those certain mods and save more gas...

Thanks for any information!

i have header, test pipe, cat back exhaust, and CAI, and am getting better gas mileage than stock..i usually got to about 275-300 miles on a fill up..(usually city driving), and now i am getting average around 300-330 on fill up..i usually put in less than 11 gallons...so it's damn near close to 30 MPG with not much freeway driving

I've got an axle back exhaust and a SRI for mods and drive 15 miles one way to work in DC with no real highways to use. I'm averaging about 28-30 MPG. Pretty happy with the numbers!!

Short ram, header, exhaust. I do mostly highway driving and get about 27-28 mpg. I'd get more if I didn't stomp around on back roads (read: going around 100 mph on back stretches of highway.)

Stay away from the tornado, thats for old ladies that drive slow, hell the infomercial shows an old lady installing one! When my LS was bone stock, I got 365 miles on almost one tank of gas. There was at least 1 1/2 gallons in the tank when I got to Vegas (from San Diego), math: 12 gallons into 365 miles=30.42 mpg. Now...I have SRI, test pipe and axle back, I haven't done any calculations on mpg yet, but so far it seems to have gone down a little because like BallaOnBudget I've gotten into the habit of driving harder and hauling *** more.

You guys are lucky .... I only get 9-15 MPG. Then again, I could run circles around your cars. I think its worth it.

I don't. There's only so much fun to be had in outrunning entry level sedans. I'd have much more fun with the money I save on gas expenses.
