Vibrant Vs. B&M Short Shifter

I tried searching for the answer...but found nothing...

Is there any difference between these two? The vibrant is almost 3 times less the price of B&M...

B&M is 303 stainless; who knows what the other is... Probably just a jump up in quality. Neither come with a knob. LOL, knob...

the b&m has a little longer extention after where the boot goes. witch will make for a shorter shift but if u want my honest opponion its not enough to pay that much extra money for. but if u have the money to blow then the B&M would be the better of the two. jus my $.02 worth. take it for what it is

yeah knob...

B&M is like the Cadillac of short shifters. They're nice, but I was damn happy with my Kartboy. The guys with eBay short shifters were happy with those. Sometimes you pay for the brand.

i've been told by many that the b&ms are worth the money because they are designed extremely well and will not damage your tranny in the long run

i've heard that other cheaper ones (like ebay) are only visual copies of good shortshifters and carry a greater risk of damaging the tranny

Aside from ebay though like kartboy and other reputable part makers, i would bet they are done well enough or just as well as b&m

will anyone ever know for sure? probably not, but it's a car so i wouldn't go cheap on important parts like a shifter unless i knew for sure the part was good

the picture on the website looks accurate but thats only a picture. it seems fishy that they do not include the evo VIII as compatible as well, it should be
