well good news. i got it all glued together. painted and installed. used some 60 second epoxy. worked a charm.
only problems i've found are:
Some condensation in the passenger light. need to remelt the glue and squeeze it together some more.
Also i painted the blinker covers a bit, but i think they may be a bit to dark. you can see the blinkers fine at night, but not during the day.
Overall it looks pretty good. i took some photos. i will upload them tomorrow.

heres some crappy pics. it was late at night when i finnally got done. so they are a bit dark. i will take some good pics over the weekend when i have re-done the headlights.
Pics of busted light housing

2 parts already glued together

Pics of semi-finished product, i will redo lights this saturday

headlight that didn't break, you can see the blinkers are too dark. im gonna paint them solid black, and have a non-painted ring around the edge, so when the blinker goes it will be an orange ring around the outside.

Thats a damn fine idea. Get some LED bulbs also so that the blinker is crisp on and off.
Dont pay more then $25 a bulb. They rarely wear out so you dont have to worry about replacing them. Also you will need a resistor to make them blink properly.

And this page for the equalizers. get one 6 ohm for one turnsignal.

This is how i have mine done. Ive had them for almost two years now with out problems.
Word the the wise tho. Get the color bulb for the color light you want. (aka get a red bulb and put it in a red lens. Do not get a white bulb and put it in a red lens as it will be alot dimmer this way.)

also the light in the side of the headlight doesn't work, is it supposed to be a turn signal? daytime light? what, cos nothing i do turns it on.

and bump for anyone who can tell me how complicated the whole LED turn signal is, i'm gonna be doing all this tomorrow
