NEW PLANS:

Performance
RRM Stage 2 Turbo Kit- $5000 (approx)
RRM LSD- $999
RRM Pistons & Rods- $1500
Possibly take my car to a shop and have them port IM/TB/FR & P&P heads -$???
Custom Cat Back- $150
Transmission cooler- $80

Suspension:
RRM Sway Bar & Perches- $229
RRM Front Strut Bar- $79

Exterior:
Evo 8 Spoiler & Accolade Evo9 rear bumper- $400 (approx)
JDM Cedia Front Bumper- $600 (approx)
Blue Re-spray- $800 (approx)
Tail Lights- $160

Comes out to roughly $11,000
assuming $1,000 for shop to P&P everything


What does everyone think of that for plans? Anything you think I could do without? Anything you think i should add to that list?

Also what power do you think i will be getting out of that. HP wise? and also track times? (roughly)

I'm looking for feedback as i've started major saving.

hmmm.... I plan to either try to trade my 03 automatic Lancer ES for an 03 5-speed Lancer any trim level I can get my hands on. That or save most of the year and by 2008 have my lancer converted to 5-speed, which would suck cause it'll set back the turbo plans much further. Dangit I want a 5-speed....

Just for the record. I like your plans but a $1000 for porting would be more than our intake and cylinder head. Just to clarify. Powder coating adds a little to expense of IMs but we can do non painted versions for guys. As for RRM stage 2 cylinderhead. Most of the cost of the head is in Valve Job, decking, and $200+ work of gasket kit to reinstall the cylinder head. All that come with it on top of the port and polish. That is what makes the cylinder head like NEW plus fast and furious due to the Professional port/polish. It is a bit more than just whipping out your dremel and going to town. There is a Science to it. That is why we sub it out to an expert for P and P. I don't know how to port correctly therefore I would not port my own head! FYi guys.

yeh i wasn't sure on the whole porting everything. That was just a wild guess on pricing for a local shop to do it.

Rob, im gonna give you a call eventually, I'm probably gonna wait till after my wedding when i get settled and i can properly go over my funds. I don't wanna be asking lots of questions and getting involved if i still have to wait several months before i can put anything in motion
That list is just a rough idea on what i WANT to do, and what i think is feesable
But if your P&P is cheaper and better than i would most likely go with you. Like i said i will give you a call in a later date.

I just want some feedback so i have a rough idea on what to expect and if i should make any changes

My plan was to pay off my lancer and trade her in.. but I've decided to keep it..




....and get setup with RRM about creating a monstrous 300hp Lancer :]
