Kinda chuckling to myself that the new Evo only has a "manumatic". Laughing harder since the new Evo and the Lancer share the same 4b11. I can see it now. HP wars between the Evo X guys and the GTS guys. Wonder if RRM or RRE have gotten their hands on a 4b11 yet.

 

just watched, it was freaking sexy of both lancer and the proto x. and we finally gets the active yaw control. woohoo!!!!!!!!!!

 

I'll tell you one thing, I would like to smack the first EVO owner that says that played out line about "Why you trying to make your Lancer look like an EVO when it's not?" Anyway, I would be interested to see what the power is under the hood of the final EVO X and what the Ralliart Lancer aftermarket will be like!I'm just curious now if that new b11 could be swapped into an '02-'03 LancerTHat chrome grill crap is getting played out though forreal! I'ma kick the designers in the nuts!

ok i just checked out the web site and well i am not sure how the new lancer is a step ahead haha only 152 horse, that is still really low and below the other cars in the same class

Not happy with it at all...... It looks like mazda 3.

I would still take 02-03 any time compare to 04+ models.

It has more power, but it has also packed on more than 350 pounds

They were refering to the MAJOR HP increase. 152hp vs. 120 LOL j/k

 

to be honest...inits comparable feild, it looks very promising...

look is good, while the 02-03 is still the best looking mitsu is looking to steal the people from the mazda 3 crowd that get all the extra plush with the 3...

if every lancer from base model comes loaded with all of that stuff...can you imagin how much more worthit it would be to buy a lancer? over a civic/3/corolla/sentra, all of which with the exception of the 3, i ouldnt buy, soly based on looks, power, extras vs cost.

the base lancer already offers a lot more than what a base civic/corolla/focus/sentra offers but they just want people to realize that mitsu can provide a nice interior also...

wow an extra 350 lbs...its not a lot...and if you are really concerened about weight hten buy some light weight stuff for it....

this model is by far better than the 04-06 models :eww:
