Cusco Racing Roll Cage - Lancer EVO

Will any of the EVo harness bars or rolll cages fit in the Lancer ES? I noticed the interior is the same, so I'm wondering if the inside dimensions are the same too.

May I ask why you need one? I'm sure you wont find any specifically for our cars (you know why) but the Evo one should fit, if not it shouldn't take much work to make it fit.

Having to extend a roll cage defeats the purpose and may cause a structural weakness in a roll. If you are just cutting away that is a different story. It may be cheaper and more effective to find a local shop that does custom work to have a roll cage installed. Chances are though that the evo roll cage will fit without any modification. The dimentions of the interior are nearly identical if not exact.

I've heard cusco bars are basically just for looks, they don't really offer any protection in the case of a rollover. I would suggest getting an Autopower bar since they're very well built (since they are allowed in racing), cheap (since you're not paying for the JDM name) and they offer different models depending on what you actually need.

One last question would you be able to put a harness bar in and a roll cage both in the vehicle without any conflicts?

A roll cage should have a harness bar built in with it.
