seats...rgr

okay, i finished putting in new floor mats and found all of a sudden my drivers seat wont slide up as far as they did before, i don't like to have to reach for the steering wheel and am wondering why the seats wont slide up that far anymore weird problem

This might seem like a dumb question, but are the new floor mats obstructing the rollers on which the seat slides?

Lol, naw I looked at that I will have to take a closer looks to see if anything was shoved in there, I tried jerking the seats forward pretty hard so it doesn't seem to be the problem, perhaps there's some sort of lock that is holding the seats from pulling forward more?

wats the problem with reaching for the wheel.....do u not like to have the gangsta lean going on.lol
yeah but id make sure there isnt something that got lodged in the track and if there isnt then im with everyone else in saying that sitting in them will help.

I usually reach in and move the seat before I get into the car. It's a little harder, but I'd rather do that than scoosh in and then move the seat.

So they just assumed that maybe you were doing that.

lol i understand, i'm a small guy so i keep the seat in the same place at all times, i guess i will have to suffer for now lol

Honestly, it's four bolts and a wiring harness clip. Pull the seat out and look at the sliders. Add some grease while you're in there. Shouldn't take you too long to do.

Took less time than that, these seats are amazingly light I was like 1 hand muscle man; anyways there was a quarter lodged in there *slaps self*
