Build quality - carpet???
Build quality - carpet???
Driving home from washing the car, I had some tokens fall out of my pocket. I didn't make much of it, except that it made a lot of noise.
The surprise I got when I went to retrieve them from underneath the seat. It seems the carpet on the driver's side in my evo doesn't go underneath the center console, it just kinda hangs there with a space in between.
So all the coins went in between the carpet and the console and further down onto the floor, sliding around underneath there. Sticking my hand down there I could initially feel some of them, but it only worsened their location...
How the &*$# do I get those out now????

Try partially removing the center console, lift up the carpet to retrieve the coins, then push the carpet underneath the console before bolting the console in place again. That's where the carpet should have been in the first place. Someone probably overlooked that side while installing the center console, like I did when I changed the shifter on my Camaro
