Evo Spoiler

Here is a question for all of you guys, I want to get an Evo spoiler, BUT, I have my OZ Rally spoiler, and it has a brake light in it, and I know that there is wires that connect the spoiler, so am I going to need to get a new trunk to match up the new spoiler?

Don't need a new trunk, but you'll probably want to fill the middle hole left when removing that rally spoiler. Plug it, or professionally fill...either way! Then the matter of the 3rd brake light... Some states will be easy on this, including where I live (SC). FL, maybe! But to be certain, you can get an Evo (or aftermarket) 3rd brake light put into the rear deck behind the window.

OK, thread moved. Solution to your problem: the evo spoiler will fit perfectly into your stock spoiler holes. Just fill the center post hole. Or, buy an evo trunk with the spoiler already on it and sell your trunk lid. or get a cf trunk lid and have the spoiler installed by a pro. For the light, don't worry about it unless where you live they are strict. Or, trade your stock spoiler to someone with an es in exchange for their 3rd light and cash. or buy any aftermarket third light. and search next time.

^Yeah, assuming your paint is in great shape you can probably just straight trade and hole trunk (wing and all) for an Evo owner's trunk... Plus maybe a few $$$ as well.

Good luck!

Will an Evo trunk fit on my car? Or is it like the hood, and not fittable, lol.

yes the trunk from an evo is the same as the trunk of an 02-03 lancer. An es would be getting rid of their 3rd light if they bought an oz spoiler because you don't need 2 lights, plus, you could buy an oz spoiler for cash plus the 3rd brake light, meaning you'd pay less cash.
