It looks like a large improvement over the current Lancer. After seeing these pics, I think the X will be pretty sweet, but I don't really care for the rear.

Yeah how is that sound system and in working with bluetooth. Is it intuitive or counter-productive?

Actually I am wondering about it also, interesting thing is that notice the new BMWs and Mercedes cars also have similar plugs on the front and rear bumper, I just wish I knew what is to for.

That is a cover for the hole where you screw in the tow hook. My 350Z had something similar, only it was covered up by some black plasic piece in the middle on my front grill.

the "plugs" are covers to the tapped holes that you screw in with a tow hook

I saw one for the first time today while my '03 was in for service, big improvement overall, nice 152hp MIVEC engine is now standard and 4 disc brake with ABS. Interior radio console now looks like Mazdaish and nicer bigger control knobs for the temperature fobs. Exterior tail looks like an Acura TL and the front looks like a Volvo or a Mustang ..LoL

Going to wait and year before I trade in my '03 and get it at a deal !

Nice. I saw a truck load of them driving up Rt. 17 today in Northern Jersey. This is the first time in my life that I actually found a non-EVO Lancer sexy! That is a really nice-looking car! Hopefully this is a good thing for Mitsu.
