EVO VIII + 3rd break light

Hello Everybody

I'm from Ontario, and will be posting this in all the various forums sections to get lots of responses to a rather simple question:

-If I remove my stock OZ spoiler that has a 3rd break light built into it, and install a Evo VIII spoiler that does not have a break light built into it, would I need to purchase/install a 3rd break light in the rear window inside the car?

thank you for your responses everyone

I went w/o. no cops seemed to bother me but I did fail inspection because I did not have a 3'rd brake light. So... I put the oz spoiler on to get inspected and then take it off.

i've got a crappy one from ebay in my car now but i hate it... it just doesn't fit or look right.

primarily a third brake light is for safety, that's why i have one. the guy walkingchaos got a LED light off ebay and it looks pretty nice on his car, i'm sure he could give you some suggestions.

i replaced mine when i put an Evo VIII wing on (and kept it with the flush mount wing). I found an LED one that fit perfectly and that i love. Looks like this at night . .
