ground & voltage stabilizer problem
ground & voltage stabilizer problem
my buddy club ground and energy stabilizer just arrived today. i installed the grounds and everything. the only left is for me to put the connections off the battery terminal. i hook the positive first then the negative terminal. right after i connected it, the cable that runs from the voltage stabilizer to the positive terminal starts to heat up and little smoke cam out from the insulator of the cable. did i do something wrong? need help! i'll post some pics
Smoke can after what point? after you connected the postive lead or the negative? In which order did you install it? + then - ? If you saw/smell smoke, that wire (a possibly the unit itself) is probably toast!
i already fixed it! Good thing that my ECU is not fried! i accidentaly switch the terminal of the stabilizer(not the terminal of the car). so the one hooked up in the positive started to heat up and smoke was starting to came out so i took it of.. i did'nt read the insrtuction because it all in japanese! haha!
