Once upon a time I stumbled across a website for a company called Cerious Performance. Searched for Lancer and I came up with one thing, I believe it was eyelids. But about a month later, coming back to their website searched Lancer once again and I see: 2 different carbon fiber style hoods, carbon fiver EVO VII wing, carbon fiber mirrors, carbon fiber/fiberglass EVO style grill, EVO VII Momo sterring wheels (with an airbag! ), ralliart stickers, and ralliart carbon fiber keychain (I want one!). But anyways, this comapny really seems to be develpoing a lot of products or dealing lots of products for our Lancer. I would suggest giving them a look. They have gotten great reviews by customers who have purchased from them, and everytime I contact them, I get a next day answer. Oh and I just contacted them yesterday too! I had some questions if they were developing a Carbon Fiber trunk lid and a body kit EVO style, this is what they had to say:

Both those products you mentioned are in development. We are trying to keep the release date confidential, and within the company, but expect them soon. We were planning on not letting anyone know until the release date but the answer is yes, expect to see those parts soon. I can tell you that the first release will be the carbon fiber trunk.

Yep, just doing my job trying to get some info for my friends here, and also I emailed them back adding some info trying to see if I can get them to slip me a little more info about the 2 products (body kit and trunk)

 

From what i heard their fiberglass parts are crappy.

 

Just got an email back from them, they said the trunk is deffinately going to be out before the end of summer (2 months about). Maybe we can get a group buy on them, I seen many people wanting to get these.

 

HA HA where have you been man pumpdog720 I've already brought this to the boards and the responce on the company was ruogh if you go check out my picks i have the Grill installed as well as picking up the hood in about a month for the springfeild Mass. meet hopefully giving funding goese my way. They are a good company and your writ up was very well said. i was about to do one but wanted to wait till i got the hood on as a back up to my statements. and your right they do have a bunch of products commong out that do look very promising.

Heh, must have missed it. But anyways, hope to hear some good info on the hood and I can't wait to see it. Which hood did you get, OEM or EVO style? And ya, he is trying to keep the info to a minimum, I guess he likes surprising people, but I keep getting a little more informaiton each time I contact him.

 

evo style then i'am gonna hook myself up w/ da wing and be straight. I've been talking to him bout a month or so now about diffrent ideas and what not trying to find out here what everyone is intrested in that nobody has and what not. trying to help us as a lancer group out.i'am not affiliated w/ them either but if they making stuff for our car gotta be a good thing.But i love all the companies this board has many give us real good service and quality ****.

Heh, we might be going the same way then. I'm getting the EVO CF hood and EVO CF Wing and probably the EVO CF Grill hehe! But my car is silver and yours is black. I can't wait to see what our cars are going to look like.

 

pumpdog and blklancer. you guys mentioned that they are talking about doing an evo style body kit. and you mentioned you are trying to keep an eye on what people want well i am still trying to get this damned evo style kit made by someone so maybe you can pass the info and the poll response along. heres the link

i also have a list about about 12 people that want this kit today if that helps.

 

oh one other thing. dont you think its kinda strange that all the stuff ceriousperfromance is selling are parts that were made by other companies first. the grill and the eyelids (rmr) the evo style hood (calvinwich) just wondering what you thought.

 

hmm that hood is the one calvin sells and so is the wing. as for the trunk i cant wait to see one of those =)

 

calvin don't make them i think they where imports and then distributed cause their are like 2 or 3 companies that also sell the hood and wing so he may be the main importer but i really don't think he has anyhting to do w/ production of them.

and cerious sells the hood less than Calvin unless you can catch it on e-bay


and as for the kit i'll pass it over and see what they say. It may be a little too big of a project but we'll see and i'll let you know.


as in evo kit i was more showing a lip kit like sides and rear or something......

 

cool yeah just pass on the info if you can maybe they will like the design but hell any kit thats not already available will be good so that we have more choices

 

well as i said they have things in the works but i did show him hte feed back on that kit you showed and when he get's back to me on his htought i'll let you know.but it may not be for a little while cause they are working on a # of things......
