ROAD/RACE- Gabe R.I.P.
wow...what a shock... i remember always calling Road Race and gabe always answered and there was a point where Gabe would remember who i was and we always used to small talk on the phone. It was awesome, I was always hoping to come down there and finally meet him...I still have that article w/ him and the turbo lancer (super street magazine)
and its funny, my buddy matt used to work for a mitsubishi dealership here and he would call road race and he would get Gabe on the line and matt told me a story of him asking Gabe "do u drive a evo?" and gabe laughed and was like "nah dude i ride a motorbike" hahaha
he seemed like a really cool guy, one thing is he did what he loved (from what i know of him)
rob, my condolenses...

Damn!? Much respect for Gabe... sorry to hear this.
He helped me alot during my turbo install. I always enjoyed shooting the **** with him when I'd stop by your shop.
You'll be severely missed in the Lancer community. RIP.

that's terrible. even though we'd never met, gabe was very helpful when i needed to get just a single replacement strut for my TEIN set, or when i had some issues with my piggyback install. he helped me out a ton via phone and email.
gabe helped me (as well as countless other members of the community) tons and it's terrible that ths had to happen to such a good person. it sounds like he was a really great guy to know and everyone who hasn't met him is going to be seriously missing out, myself included.
my condolences to everyone at RRM and to gabe's family.

Yes. His family and friends know how important his work was to him. It was more than a job. They would love to see how loved he was in his work.
