How To: Change Rotors/Drum Covers..
interesting mind you have. wanted to asked this but always forgot.
The direction of the slots do not matter.
The direction of the cooling fins INSIDE the rotor are what matters. If they're straight, you put the rotor however. If they're aimed, you position the rotors so they "catch" the air.

anyone know wheer to get larger brake pad dust covers...i just changed my roturs, looks like it lines up with and some times rubs the cover itself since its so small...thers like a hump on the bottom that kind of touches the rotor

oh man, i had those slotted and drilled rotors on a previous car (4 wheels discs) and it ate up my pads so quick. Is that normal cause ive always been told unless your a big autocross freak or your way above stock horsepower, then there really not gonna make a giant difference?

i went with just slotted rotors, not drilled, the drilled ones develop cracks in them, when i went to my auto parts store to order them, another kid was in with his slotted/drilled, and me and the guy talk (the one that works there) and i bought the point up and he sed he told the kid not to get them, and noticed cracking wen looking at them, to each his own i guess
