Any changes or ANYTHING going to be changed for them?

Like if nothing changes its worth getting 2003 Lancer for cheaper

 

The front end will be different. Some think it's ugly, I just like '02-'03 bodystyle better.
Mitsubishi will also release the ralliart edition lancer (2.4L mivec engine and some other ralliart goodies).

 

Thats the Ralliart that is different.....im talking about ES and OZ models

 

So the ES and OZ will be staying with the same body style? Cool, I hadn't realized that. I think it's definitely a good thing in terms of aftermarket availability that the 2002-2003 model will stick around a little longer. But maybe this is the question you're asking.... in which case, I have no idea. I think it's a little silly to have 3 completely different looking cars all called Lancers of some sort.

hmm i dislike the looks of the ralliart and 03 baby all the way ohh ya 02 so 160 for the ralliart and 120 for the LAncer oz es and ls ohh well a turbo will stick that to the ralliart !!!! but 1 down fall is that everyone might get one after seeing 2f2f

 

I thought the 2004 Lancer was wayyyyyyy different. 1st of all it is ugly as sin, looks like a wannabe Galant. That said it has more horses under the hood than the 02-03

wait..so there's gonna be 4 trims of the lancer now? i thought it was just going to be es, ls, and the ralliart which replaces the OZ..?

 

Nope....from what I heard....the ES, the LS, the OZ, the RALLI and then the EVO........in that order.....The ralli has like 172 hp or something like that

 

ok, that kinda makes me feel better..cause i always thought i got screwed over for buying an underpowered 03 oz lancer lol.
i heard 160..and how similar are the 04 lancers compared to 02-03? like chassis wise, drivetrain, etc.

 

Actually, the 2004 Lancers will all look similar to the RalliArt Lancer.

Mechanically nohing really changes for the Es, LS and OZ. Interior materials may be slightly upgraded...

Yeah I agree.. I'm not that big a fan of the '02 - '03 lancer's front grill, but rrm is a simple solution..

 

I really dont like the looks of '04.
