Well the 2008 Lancer models are off to a very brisk start, with sales up in April 2007 an astonishing 263.5% compared to April 2006

That's probably because the way the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and new Sentra looks. People are looking for a more sporty profile now a days. Mitsubishi is attacking this audience. A good example is the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6. Take a look at how sales increased for Mazda compared to the previous Mazda Protege and Mazda 626 sales. All makes sense right?

That is because they did not sell the 2008 Lancer model in April 2006.

i wish they made a ralliart version of the 03's...i still think the first gen (in US) Lancers are the best looking.

I would love to test drive the new Lancer tho! Just saw one on campus the other day and it definitely turned my head.

Well Mitsu is my area was offering 4.9% for 5 years when I bought mine. I got the fully loaded one and I still pay less then $370 a month.
