exhaust blowout

so long story short i wanted a cb (cat back) couldent decide if i really needed it, was on the express way the other day punched it, hit a pot hole and at some point in the middle of that i either broke a bolt loose or put a hole in my muffler or sumen haven't really looked to well. but my car is completely too loud, like not legal to drive, sounds like im running straight from the header. so i am going to say that was my answer from god ok or maybe i jus want the cb.

but the ? i have is, i have the kamakazi header on my car now and the cat delete pipe. so would my car be redicously rice sounding if i attach the n1 to the cat delete, or do i need to spend extra money on a cat, (ky dosent car about emissions)

and if i dont need the cat will the 2 1/2" in cb fit straight to the 3" cat delete

Since Kentucky doesn't care about emissions I would just leave the cat off, but if the cops say your car is too loud then you might wanna get the cat. I would go with the 2.25 cat back. I think 2.50 and 3.00 are too big unless you're boosted.

If it's anything like SC here, as long as it has a muffler-like device you'll be fine! Throw on that new Greddy Ti model catback...beau-ti-ful!

i had obx headers with a test pipe and a dc sports.. completely rice sounding to me. i traded out the test pipe for a friends stock cat, sounds much more reasonable and it doesnt annoy people when they ride in my car. just my experience, i would always keep a cat on, just because i dont like waking up the dead.

Go with a hi-flow cat. I had a Greddy cat-back with a test pipe and the Kami headers and it sounded REALLY loud. Put on the cat and it sounds a lot better.

Exhaust size - you should be okay with the 2.25 or 2.5. I thought my greddy was perfect for me.
