What did you drive before your Lancer?
96' Z Cam nitrous 11.01@121. It had a burnt plug from a faulty fuel pump two days prior, this was when I finished the cam swap. Got a new pump in it loaded it in the trailer and went to the track. I did notice it was rough starting, but I just finished it and knew there would be some dialing in. Anyway, my life changed, I am a single Dad and needed something with four doors as well some what economical. FWIW I drive a Jeep daily. The Evo is for my sons and I to cruise and travel in.

Wow, I may have had the worst luck with a Cavalier out of anyone here....
In the 3 years I've owned it, I did everything short of drop a whole new engine and tranny into that '91 Cavalier and never did it go more than 18 hours without something new breaking down. I actually had an alternator explode, and subsequently set fire to my engine....
Yeah, so I got rid of that and bought my parents '87 Cutlass Ciera, which lasted a month, yes one month, before the engine blew. I knew it was kinda screwed when I got it though, it was leaking oil so bad I had to check and add every time I started it, just didn't have the cash to get it fixed. And so I had the Cutlass towed to the Mitsu lot, and traded it in for a down payment on the '03 Lancer I drive now. 2 years now and the only "problem" I've had is that I wanted a 5-speed, lol.

94' integra, I really miss the quick little car, had full custom exhaust, leather racing seats, push button start, CAI, cams, and disconnected A.C. 2 weeks after i sold it, it was stolen and stripped.
but my lancer is a step up just the same.

!998 toyota corolla ae-100 was a piece of crap until i started working on it i swapped the weak *** engine for a 4A-GE engine performance engine made by toyota.
Great sounding from individual throttle
Advanced ECU
VVT makes individual throttle and high-cams drivable
Quad Throttle gives serious response
Peak rpm response unequalled
OEM form an excellent upgrade for older car application.
Best balance with AE86, though tricky and costly to install
AE101 version core engine inexpensive and abundant
Excellent race track /street /autocross engine
Best balanced internal components
i also had 2 layers of 5% tints on mah windows
15% on the front windshield
kenwood head unit
3500 kicker mosfet amplifyer
4 12 " kicker subs 2000 watts each
12 guage wires
kenwood pyramid
thats about it

Before the Lancer, I had a weak 1997 B14 Sentra. It had an eBay intake, big (for back then) 15" wheels, and altezza, yes... altezza taillights (there was a time when we all had no taste). People whine and moan on here that the Lancer has no aftermarket, that car had nooo after market. Nismo hadn't come to the US and it didn't exactly have the Datsun 510-like likeability that the B13 Sentras had. Luckily for me, just as I was about to pay it off a highshooler ran over the back end of it, totaling it. Before that I had a 1985 B12 Sentra hatch, unmodified, which according to Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson is the worst car ever made... ever. I actually liked it though. It was so light, you could really have some fun downshifting around corners. I even spun it once... and didn't hit anything. But, eventually the AC started to go and the drivers side door leaked when it rained. Before that car, my first car was a 1984 Chrysler 5th Avenue. It was a boat. It barely ran, had no AC and the windows didn't work! It was so bad, the wipers would seize up at about two strokes into a thunder storm. The Lancer has been by far my favorite car that I've owned.
