OZ Cluster Swap

So i'm looking to swap out my ES gauge cluster with an OZ cluster. I know they are a direct swap so i emailed my local mitsu dealer about the mileage issue. they responded by saying that you do not even need to swap the entire cluster. all you need to do is swap the bezel and the white face gauge piece thus never having to actually worry about the mileage. is this true? the needles look liek they would match up, however i am skeptical about all the engine lights (battery, fuel, service engine etc.) any thoughts would help thanks!

p.s. mitsu never actually answered my question as to whether they can revert the mileage if i were to go ahead and do the swap...

just swap out the whole thing. much less of a hassle. i think mitsu can even calibrate it to match the original mileage.

Hey I just got an idea. cant you pop out the little computer part of your old cluster and just put in on the OZ one? If it works like I'm thinking your mileage will stay the same?

get a cluster with close mileage, more then yours. Wait until your gauges hit that mileage... swap them out. no need to calibrate anything...

yeah i called mitsu...calibration is 500 bucks cuz they gotta do a ton of stuff. u know how much they like to lollygag and bs...

mitsuozboi is right. just wait till its time to swap them. dont bother taking apart your cluster. you might screw something up.

Mitsuozboi's right, just get one with close or same mileage, and then swap.
It'll be much easier.
