ok i have a 02 lancer ..its a charcol color and it was previously my moms lol..i want to mod it but i dont know what to start with first...i dont want to mess witht the engine much but i do want my lancer to have a deep tone to it when it rides..should i start modding from the outside in or inside out...thanksss
I would start with a nice window tint, that definately sets the dar off. From there its all up to you.
On a side note, since you are just starting out, do not let anyone discourage you from modding your lancer. Keep going with it and do what makes you hapy

OK, you have no idea what you want to do with your car.
But you think we do?

If you want a deep tone, get a new muffler.

thank you all...lol i know what i want to do with my car..its just i dont know where to start...i think im gonna get some tints and do the muffler first...about a 7 or 8 percent tint...im gonna research some mufflers tonight
LOL good luck buddy. i'd say 35% for you.
Start here by clicky the linky.

there's my megan exhaust, and a clip of what it sounds like; has a pretty deep tone i think. mine goes to the catback so its a little more than just the muffler but you can still get a nice sound with just the muffler.

you can mod from wherever you want, tint is very easy first mod and then exhaust you just have to pay someone to weld it on. then if you have the money get a nice pair of rims and tires that you like (show us before you make the buy and we will tell you if its nice or rice) and remember the lancer is not a race car
no car should be on the streets, stay safe. God bless

PS. don't buy springs from e-bay, do a lot of research on springs/coil overs before lowering your car.
