I've seen a lot of whining today. Why does everyone think that aftermarket parts are so easy to make? The car has been out for what? A shade over 6 months? And all I see is "how come there's no body kit?" How come there's no parts?

Give it time. We are genuinely lucky to have available what we already do.

^^^I agree. We have quite a bit already. The car is still new, this is not a new Honda or GTI or the like. It is a Lancer. A Name that is known with slow. And with it being a Lancer I feel we have quite a bit of support out now and some that is coming.

Maybe it is just me but I think it is silly to buy the first avalible kit as soon as it comes out. Because before you know it a variation or new kit will come out and you are going to have the crap face, feeling bad that you have an inferior and dated kit.

If you are all about show, by all means go for a kit, win your trophy's and be happy but, if you care at all about performance, why not just wait? I mean really? You buy the first kit out that looks good to you which could be "Evo X" style then like 3 months later you hear that an "Evo X ken style" is about to come out and you just spent $750 on a kit and $500 in paint what are you going to do? Buy the new one?

To the guys that are complaining, how old are you?

Dave apparently these new lancer boys just dont quite understand the modified scene.

Children play nice. If you want a modified lifestyle, be ready to put in your time PATIENTLY waiting, they are brand new, maybe that didnt click, BRAND NEW, give the aftermarket companies time to put stuff together and run through a couple proto's.

Just like the old saying, good things come to those that wait. So relax because you all know Accolade has put together some SICK bodykits that havent let us down in the past. Rock on Dave

Yeah, FG is generally the "go to" material.

Yeah, usually kits are fiberglass, but accolade is all about advertising the urethane or whatever material they say they use. I'm not sure how they decide on what kits get made out of what material though.
