i seen some auto people removing their radiator fan closest to the battery so they can fit a cai. i was just curious and is it safe to be running only 1 fan?

CAI or SRI really doesn't make much of a difference. if you can't fit the CAI do a SRI... no sense in removing a fan for that. alternatively you can replace it with a slim fan if i remember correctly.

To answer the question though, yes you can run only one fan. One is for A/C and the other is for cooling. If you remove the fan by the battery, your A/C won't be as cold when you aren't moving. We removed my friend's fan on that side to fit his turbo and put a slim fan on the front of the radiator on the other side. But I think he is going to end up getting another slim fan for the A/C side.

Well. first off, CAI won't make a difference over a short ram on this car. That is, you will still get ZERO gain.

Also, I must say, I would never run my car on 1 fan. I would spend 60$ on a slim fan for the front to maintain cooling.

Good luck and i hope you make the right decision.
