08+ taillight ideas (56k no no)
Alright guys, please excuse the crappy photoshops but I've come up with a couple designs for new taillights. Mostly based on the Concept X, but one of them is really simple and would probably be an easy and fairly inexpensive mod. Anywho, here they are:
This is the simple one, with body color (I chose silver cause my car is silver) housings and clear lenses.
Next is a simplified Concept X version. Not sure how I feel about this one but here it is anyway. LEDs would be brake/turn signal and inner red lenses would be regular lamps for parking/tail lamp
Finally, a possible production version of the Concept X lights, only DOT legal (CX didn't have reverse lights) and would fit in the wider cutouts. Same LED/bulb scheme as the one above but with the reverse light more blended in.
What do you guys think? Faves? Other ideas, or maybe a photoshop that is better than mine (not hard to do)?

I'm pretty sure it's possible to paint the housings using the same separation methods as the headlights.
The biggest problem is the pink tinted lens. I don't think there's a way to 'untint' the tint, so we'd have to wait until someone marketed clear lenses w/o housings. Which'll probably never happen.
