To K-sport user

To people who have K-sport.

The bottom suspension cap came lose & hit the C.V. Boot which split them in half & spread grease (whatever u call it) everywhere. So I'm giving you a head up to tighten that mother****! I also check other side, its also coming lose, but if I hadn't check on other side it would probably hit CV boot by end of the week or next week. Good thing I check & tighten them on other side

Here pics.

Here what it's suppose to look like when tighten.

SO TIGHTEN THEM!!!

well that can't be good.

you should always test drive, then re-tighten everything when doing suspension stuff.
i had things vibrate loose once, thankfully i recheck straightaway after a test drive

That's odd, is it due to the install or are they defective?

I dunno. Ive had my Ksports on for about 8k now.... driving on harsh roads and by no meens taking it easy and I have no issues at all. I love my Ksports. I did take a breaker bar and a hammer, and beat that bottom nut till it wouldnt turn any more. lol

CV boots are a PITA to swap out... I damaged mine installing my coilovers. The part is only like $7 from mitsu or so but the install sucks.... When I bought the kit it came with two new clamps, grease and the boot. Although the boot is a cheap plastic. not the rubber feel that the oem one has. One tip for you. Go to autozone and rent a CV boot clamp tool to tighten them...

A dab of loctite will prevent that from happening again.
