RMR Intake Sound
Ok i recorded a updated sound byte with the source being under the hood with the intake...sounds great...you can hook youre comp up to a big stereo system and hear it in almost true audio sound...i also have a sound byte from inside the car and from the rear of the car near the muffler.
Since i took these sounds bytes 10 mins before i came to work i will not have them up till 6 pm central time
Granted the individual who made the first one did a good job...i just couldnt get a grasp on the deep throaty sound so I made one that has more of a bassy feel to it and it rumbles good too.

Does this mean that the rmr intake is much better than the rrm...would like to know...i purchased an rrm intake and am very happy with it...however i am quite interested in knowing the stats of the rmr one???
I'm all for short ram, be it RRM or RMR and then venting it. Don't have to worry about puddles, and it will be significantly colder than a cai at the throttle body if you get atmospheric air that is also cooling the engine bay instead of a twisted pipe sucking off the ground.

but overall it's probably a price/time issue. Can the dealership not rip you off and install it for free? or do you wanna save and install yourself.
i got another question does RRM stuff come with instructs im kind of new to this stuff, I know some of the basics but i would like to know more and learn/teach myself and install some of these bolt on upgrades... just wondering
the RRM stuff I got didn't have instructions but it wasn't necessary. The hood scoop was explained on how to install it when I bought it on the phone. And to top that off Rob called me like 4 hours later to make sure I knew how to do it. If you have any questions at all at any point in the install process including pre install Rob and his staff are more than willing to thorougly answer your questions.
I agree with the short rams...and rmr keeping the stock rubber pipingis bogus, they could of thought of a better way to do that.
Does anyone have a pic of all the components that come in the rrm kit...i iam using a after market pos i bought from auto zone,it is just a conical filter but it was not name brand so the filter is more restrictive and it is smaller too as i can tell from the pics...the filter is half the size as of the one offered by rrm.
I will definately get a rrm intake..and im going to try to find a heat shield for it like rmr's

I wish I could record the sound of my RRM short RAM intake, RRM Magnaflow muffler and Kamikaze header for you!
Nothing comes close! I don't care what muffler you got!, without the other ingredients you can't be as loud as me!

its easy boston...if you have a good camcorder...like one of the small one...like my sony...bungee strap it behind the batterey, and aim it right at the intake...as for the exhaustplace the camcorder in the spare tire compartment...and if it has a external mic jack...plug a mic in and duct tape it to a main support under the car...you could do the same for the front also...be inventive...
Even if you have a mp3 player that can record through a mic...you can do it that way....you will get great sound...boo- yeah
